Lizzie Lo: Introducing the first-ever dating platform for unvaccinated singles

I founded DQ dating and launched the website in response to the demand from single people who want an online dating site that reflects their freedom of choice to not have the COVID-19 vaccine. My goal is to bring positivity to those seeking a safe space to connect with like-minded people and develop relationships.

I created this dating site because I’m very passionate about connecting people whilst preserving their rights as individuals to make choices about their lives free of discrimination.

Love in the time of COVID-19 has always been a complicated affair – but more so now than ever for those who choose to decline the vaccine. I notice that the conventional and well-known dating apps are creating a huge divide between those who want the vaccine and those who do not. My aim is to remove this common and discriminative barrier for the unvaccinated, and to unite them to give them a much fairer chance at finding friendships and love online. Regardless of your reason for not being vaccinated, it should never be an excuse for discrimination against you. If you’re someone who has ever felt personally discriminated because of your own decision, then I hope in some way DQ dating is now here to help you enjoy dating once again.

As an unvaccinated person myself I have a deep regard for maintaining individual rights and recognised the need that others would experience when dating and wanting to connect. Never again, do I want any of you to hear that inevitable first date question ‘are you vaccinated?’ – yes, that is what the DQ in DQ Dating stands for.

With time and your help, I hope to grow the website to be something that you will all really enjoy. I greatly appreciate your support; hope you align with me on the need for the dating site and help me to grow it by letting your unvaccinated single friends and family know about us.
